i have a beetle i would like to use to tow a small teardrop trailer. did you have to modify it anyway to get a tow hitch on it? how heavy is your trailer?
check out websites like Etrailer, or even Ebay for an exact fit hitch for your car, the trailer weighs about 1,400 lbs according to the website. I tow my teardrop with a Ford Focus, not rated to tow anything in the US, but rated to tow 2,000 lbs in the rest of the world.
