I would like to share our Backyard Bunkie. It is a 192 sq. ft. mini house we have built on our property. It sits on top of a hill with amazing views of the Appalachian Mountains (about 45 minutes from Asheville). It has a full bathroom with standard plumbing, a kitchenette with a mini fridge, sink, microwave and an open area with a queen pillow top mattress and loveseat. It also offers a 32″ flat screen television, patio with rocking chairs, table, gas grill and Wi-Fi.

Wow, very neatly done. The colors are subdued and nuetral and the siding looks like you would use on a utility building, but its some well done it has its own charm. The interior has lovely touches and has a great feel to it. windowboxes of bright red geraniums would look really nice on the railings. or a trumpet vine of fat red trumpet flowers…excuse me, just day dreaming. Sure beats a tent.
What a nice era we are living in to have these kinds of charming places to choose from when we are traveling.
almost all good. the tiny round sink is aa gaffe. a sink that size is good only for rinsing a glass but not for washing anything.
Lovely. I do wish there was a picture that wasn’t so close to give an idea of layout.
This is really cute. I wouldn’t mind it full time if it were properly insulated to take far north winters.
Cute
