In the winter of 2009, New Prairie took on a challenging new project: renovating a 1961 Airstream Safari. Our goal was to create a beautiful, cozy, and practical space with as many environmentally-friendly features as possible.

Work of art! I love the lighting and other elegant details. The shower is handsome.
As a vintage travel trailer collector and restorer of many, I take my hat off to you for the outstanding work that you have done. Enjoy your space, it is priceless. Ray

Beautifully executed! I appreciate the modern twists. My wife and I have a 1968 Airstream of which we are loving stewards. We hope to have a similar mirror shine on ours soon. You can see her here: http://www.airstreampdx.com

I enjoyed seeing proof that you can make a beautiful and well-made living space out of such a small area. Thanks for the inspiration,
I recall seeing Runaround Sue in person in the winter of 2014. At the time I was interested in purchasing her, but things changed in my life soon after and that did not pan out as I had hoped. Hmm…. is she for sale now? Please contact me if you are interested in talking to me again.
