Tiny Bamboo Road Home

Hello Tiny House Swoon, here is a new tiny bamboo road home for you to look at and share! It’s a 1991 Ford Econoline Cargo Van converted into a tiny mobile home in Guatemala by Steve Selby. Last year it was driven up to the US and currently lives in northern California, but it is hoping to hit the road again soon.

Ford cargo van converted into traveling tiny home. Built by Steve Selby in Guatemala. More info. here and here.

  1. Far too cluttered. It’s nice if you don’t intend on spending much time in it. But really, a lot of space is wasted.

  2. I really love this! I like to see tiny homes that are lived in instead of staged! A very nice layout and good, secure storage! Well done!!

very creative. applause to the owner and craftsmen

  4. Really comfy looking – what a good idea to use a van.

  5. Much nicer and true to the artform than a $70k tiny house – tiny houses are SUPPOSED to be tiny, and inexpensive, so they save you money. They’re not supposed to cost more than a regular house or a car. Now THIS is something I could live in – and have even a smaller stove and fridge. Who needs an entire 18cu ft fridge for a tiny house anyway? Love it.

  6. Nice conversion of an old cargo van. good job!
