I like it, but in the Winter when the water freezes. What do you do with your house in the water?
It rarely freezes in Seattle. It is just slightly higher in elevation than the Puget sound.
I forgot to mention that the Lake is Lake Union, and it is completely surrounded by the city of Seattle.

I love the post-boxes. I should imagine bad weather is no fun, but the idea of living in this way is so beautiful – I wish I could do it her in Cornwall, UK.
