The passion selling this bus is named Wendell. He stole my deposit after the bus failed mechanical inspection. It is in your best interest to stay away from this bus. Many issues mechanically. Has not been maintained our driven on a regular basis.
The placement of the wood stove worries me because of it’s proximity to the couch and the kitchen stove (could easily char or burn the couch and blister the finish on the side of the kitchen stove). I would extend the metal heat barrier to wrap around the wood stove’s enclosure & put some sort of non-combustible insulating materials behind it but other than that, I LOVE LOVE LOVE this bus conversion! GREAT job!
They do have sheet metal behind the stove and the enamel on those old (and I can tell that it is an old gas stove about the vintage that mine was) gas cook stoves won’t blister from heat. The metal was thicker and the enameling job was better in those days. I would however make a partition between the couch/daybed and stove and line the side facing it with sheet metal. But I’m sure people take caution with wood stoves (I hope!) and not get them blazing to the point that it would cause trouble.
This was a really nice conversion in every way. They maintained a sense of roominess and didn’t over decorate. What they did was smart and functional. I really like it a lot.
I think this is fantastic! What an innovative way to create a home on wheels. It could be a full-time residence or a mobile home when you travel. Either way, it is beautifully done.
Awesome idea where are plans and cost estimates for someone who would like to imitate this idea. I’d add a rack on top of bus for hauling supplies or whatever (water tank or luggage). And maybe a extra addition to back for storage. Question? Is this bus operational meaning drivable?

News flash: Inanimate items cannot be converted into a ‘resident’. Surely you meant ‘residence’. Proofread your work!

Any camping goods or rv store sells them or your home depot or lowe’s might have them. They are not to hard to find. At least, not here in the west.
