  1. I LOVE the contrast between the dark hardwood and all the white! This is a nice balance between the minimalism required of tiny homes and enough personal touches to make it feel like someone could actually live there. And there are real stairs! With a handrail! And I know it says it’s a guest house, but if I lived here I would love a bit more room for a small stovetop and oven. Lovely!

    • Thanks so much, Heather! Yeah, there’s a toaster oven and a two-burner cooktop for the counter … but that’s not quite the same as a small oven/stovetop! I so appreciate your kind remarks!

  2. Really well done. It would be hard to get your guest to leave, they’d feel so well treated. This would be an excellent TH for a son or daughter away at school as well. The clerestory windows really make the space comfortable and bright.

Tip for TH photographers: Take your photos on a sunny day like this one.

  3. Being a non-engineer/mathematical type, I’m curious if the weight distribution of this design is safe? I would be worried about having almost all of the interior weight of the home on one end, especially the back end.

A guest house for rent with a composting toilet??? This the first tiny house handrail with a useable staircase that I have seen and it is perfect!

  5. Wow, stunning site. Thnx …|
