The Crib was originally designed as a weekend cottage for one to four people. It can also be used as a backyard office, studio, or guest room. If it is used for a house, cabin or guest suite I would suggest assembling The Crib on a full-height foundation level that we have designed to accommodate a bathroom, mechanical equipment, and a small bedroom or office.

A 435 square feet cottage in Bethesda, Maryland. More info. here.

  1. NO. Price: $126100

  2. Oh, seriously…NO insulation, NO kitchen, No bathroom…..and a $126,000 price tag? No way….that has got to be a typo.
Maybe if it included a 1/4 acre of land in Bethesda…….

  3. Truly! This is for sale? Where is it? & how much? A really nice job Jeff.

  4. $126100 for plastic walls, an undersized heater, no bathroom, and lots of drafts through a full sized garage door! Do I need to mention that this SHED is so flimsy that its held together with steel cross rods and turnbuckles because, if this wasn’t done a stout breeze would have blown it over by now! I read the description and it says that the buyer must pay for disassembly and transportation to new location! Maybe Mexican pesos would be a more suitable form of payment for this WORK OF ART!!! JEEZ!!!
