My client Tony wanted to keep all of the utilitarian stuff separate so he had that little building on the left built to house the bath, composting toilet, washer/dryer and some storage.
Nice caravan, but I would much rather you linked directly to their homepage (http://www.hornbyislandcaravans.com) rather than their Facebook page, as I would rather not visit a Facebook page… ever… again. Privacy concerns up the wazoo.
Where does the little one sleep? It says built for a small family but I only see the one bed.
what’s the reasoning behind not using a loft space?
the separate bathroom / laundry room is a great idea, really makes the spaces feel larger, and the attached deck makes it more a part of the home at the same time
This was built for a single man, so just one bed was needed- I’m curious, where did you see that it was for a small family ?(someone else asked about that too). Tony didn’t want a loft, just some storage for instruments underneath. The design was done with Tony so he could get exactly what he wanted- he knew what he wanted to make space for so we figured out a specific spot for everything he needed.

separate room is indeed the bathroom- and storage and washer/dryer. The layout was one that Tony and I came up with together.
I never see bathrooms in these tiny houses. Bathing? Peeing/etc.?
